Apologies for the lack of updates. We've been flat out with family and farm commitments. Things are green and growing, rocking along beautifuly.
Babies - Ghillie, Kezzy and Zoom are in and going through all kinds of stuff (including gelding for Zoom next week - but don't tell him that!)
We've tarps and tyres, poles, flags, bridges, umbrellas, bunting, balloons, witches hats, signs, gates, white boards, pvc pipes, plastic bags ... playing with, stepping on, stepping over, going through, being draped in, eating out of ... if it's scary we're playing with it!
Verona has spent some quality time with Mac Adie, and with luck there will be the sound of little hooves springtime next year. Flora is having one try for a foal before hanging up her motherhood apron, and joining Gypsy in the retirement group. We've concentrated on a fairly intense herb and nutritional package to make sure that she's in the best physical and reproductive health as possible. Fingers crossed. She carries some incredibly rare and valuable bloodlines.
No photos at the moment. I've somehow acquired a rather nasty scratch on my good lense, and am saving madly to buy a new one. I have a phone camera thingy, but the photos are not lovely, so i've decided not to upload any at this stage.
Winter coats have finally gone, and lovely shiny coats are glowing everywhere (except Zoom, who's holding on to some, he's quite the looker now ... solid, well put together steel grey. Great legs, good amount of bone without being overly heavy. Nice amount of mane / tail / feather. A bith thicker and with more body than Kezzy / Harry who have both got Millie's straight locks. I think Zoom will tend more to Adie's thicky ropey mane and heavier leg feather)
Anyway, photo updates will resume as soon as i get a new lens ...
