Seeking Expressions of interest
Dungarron McNeill (Maggie)
Tentatively seeking expressions of interest in beautiful Maggie. I have had every intention of keeping this only daughter of Rosedene (who is by Fyfedene - one of the world's most highly regarded Highland stallions and out of Seffiedene - Steffie being, in my eyes, the best example of Highland mares in every way) by my late stallion Croftcnoc MacAdie.
Maggie is perfect in every way, but her excessive white facial markings could see her marked down in the show ring, and she may not be the ideal candidate for me to be breeding purebred Highland ponies with, where excess white is considered a flaw in the breed standard.
As with all Highlands, Maggie would be suitable for any discipline you would like to point her at. From pony dressage to driving to trail riding.
She is only being tentatively offered for sale as i have unexpectedly taken on another mature Highland broodmare.
I would possibly be looking for $5000 + GST for her.
Conditions of Sales
Please, if making an inquiry about a pony for sale, let me know who you are, where you are and what you are looking for.
Single line emails with little or no information may be ignored.
We are more than happy to arrange a viewing of the pony (or all of the ponies if you just want to meet the breed) Please email or phone with contact details, so we can organise a date and time. I would appreciate it if any viewing organised can be confirmed a few days before hand just to make sure that circumstances have not changed (either yours or ours) and that the day can still go ahead. Punctuality is always appreciated. If for whatever reason, you cannot get to an organised viewing, please have the courtesy to call and let us know you can't make it.
If coming to view our ponies, please do not bring your dogs to our farm. Not even to stay in your car. Thank you.
Please be honest with yourself; if you do not have the potential to pay and care for the horse you are interested in or the experience necessary to handle, educate and care for that horse then please do not waste our time or your own.
OK, if you've got through that bit, you might like to read on to the next bit.
Vet checks on ponies can be organised at your expense. I can point you toward our local vets; although great vets, they are not equine vets and have no equine specialist. There is an equine vet clinic in Albury (i can provide details) though depending on their workload they may or may not travel the 80km's for inspections.
You may be expected to sign a contract on the sale of any pony. Samples of the sales contract can be sent on request.
A payment plan may be able to be organised, the terms can be sent on request.
These conditions may be added to and updated with time and experience.
I am generally a very easy going person, and easy to deal with. Genuine inquiries will be dealt with happily. My ponies are bred responsibly, and much time and love is taken with each and everyone of them. I expect as much from anyone thinking about buying one.
